Celebrating Christ in Easter

I love to celebrate Easter!
I love to put Jesus into my Easter celebrating.
Bunnies and eggs are fun, but for some reason the celebrating
of the Savior as the center of my Easter is what I enjoy the most.
Here I am sharing with you my way to remember the
way that Jesus gave his life for me.
and for you.

This white cloth represents Jesus who left the tomb, the white
egg open and empty represents that the tomb was empty on the first
Easter morning. Grace represents what he gave to us,
and the spikenard represents the anointing by Mary to Jesus days
before the crucifixion.

My sign is simple, but it centers our feelings as the focal point of the
room. He is Risen, the Lamb of God.

The donkey and palm leaves represent the triumphal entry, the crown of thorns
the crown the Savior wore on the cross.

Another crown of thorns, large pieces of wood, nails, and the purple robe.

Above the white linen fabric and open egg is the Savior walking
from the tomb.

This statue represents Him carrying us through our lives.
The Savior's atonement, His love for us.

Here are some more pictures of our celebration of Easter.

And this is it.
Celebrating Jesus Christ in our home
during the month of March.
The days before Easter.
