Decorating for Halloween 2020

Do you ever wonder how am I going to decorate this year?
Each month I think, what can I do that is different
from last year, without buying too many more items.

This year we had an amazing garden, and so I decided
to use my garden to help decorate the home.
Here we have corn stalks tucked in a bucket that I found
in the big shed.

To the floor I added some homemade pumpkins and a stack
of plaid blankets, table cloths, and sheets.
Fun! No extra money spent.

All the Halloween items on the book shelf are from my totes
that I save from year to year full of Halloween decorations.

A mini book I made out of Robin's Nest Papers.
A witch hat with metal stars
A pumpkin sign I purchased last year at Hobby Lobby
A black glass blown pumpkin we purchased in Cabo San Lucas
before you could buy them everywhere here.
A witch shoe
A black and white Happy Halloween sign
A glitter black bat
Small pumpkins in orange

I love the spidey on the bay window.
She lights up on her legs, so cute, she is from Dept. 56
I did purchase the October 31 pillow case this year on Amazon.

Don't you love the Halloween house on the top?
It came from Cracker Barrel about 6 years ago.
The 2 trees are metal, they came from Madagascar!
One is a balboa and the other acacia.
Cute white owl, I really wanted a huge one like Harry Potter
but could never find one in my budget range so,
we just have a small guy.
And glitter chains! They were a fun find years ago, and I have
used them for various things, various ways.

The window shudder has a glitter "Boo".
a stuffed ghost and a pumpkin plaque, the pumpkin is cut out of metal.

And the farm fresh pumpkin truck sign I purchased at the dollar tree.

This room came together so cute.
The home sweet haunted home is from Target this year.
The black, white, orange pillow is from JoAnns a few years ago.
And the plaid pillows are from Amazon this year too.
They are just pillow covers. Easy to store.

In the lantern is another white ghost.

I love these two lounge chairs in this room.
There are windows on the opposite walls, from floor to ceiling
and it gives the best view of the back yard.
You can lay here and read a book, or just enjoy the view.

I had cut out purple pumpkins to make last year, and they never
were made. Yes, they were in the box waiting for
me to finish this year! So alas, I did actually finish them.
I purchased the fox pillow this year.
He is so cute, and yes, I guess I did purchase a few new things
for the decorating, but mostly pillows this year.

The Halloween witch has is also Dept. 56.
I had to have it!

The table setting is for next post!
Sneek peek!

Enjoy!

Robin
